Having a soft heart for the less fortunate kids, I am only happier that private organizations and others freely contribute to helping these kids.

So, with Jollibee's boxes to hold  donations of books and toys and with willing families to help, Christmas can be a little bit fun for the deprived kids.

Check out the official Jollibee's Press Release:

Continuing its  legacy of making Christmas brighter for less fortunate kids, Jollibee is again spreading hope and cheer with the 18th Maaga ang Pasko. This year, the country's longest - running toy and book donation drive makes its stop in General Santos City, calling on more Filipino families to join the Jolly Family Toy Scouts and touch the lives of children in need.

In partnership with SM Supermalls, Jollibee held a fun  and memorable media launch at the Activity Center of SM City General Santos last October 27. Those in attendance include  the new batch of partner schools and companies from the region, Jolly Family Toy Scouts, as well as Jollibee executives led by their Operations Director for Mindanao, Grace Mercado.

"There is no better way for families to bond during the Christmas season than by sharing their blessings and bringing joy to those who need it most. Through Maaga ang Pasko, we hope that families in General Santos will also make sharing a part of their Christmas family tradition," said Mercado.

During the event, the 2012 batch of Jolly Family Toy Scouts from General Santos were inducted, committing to making the 18th year of the toy and book drive a bigger success. Jollibee's regional business unit of Mindanao led the symbolic hanging of commitmennts on the Maaga ang Pasko Christmas tree and starting off this year's toy and book donations.

A variety of fun games and family - themed booths, plus  a special  magic show, were also set up at the launch, allowing participants and mall - goers to enjoy the time  with their families while contributing to the campaign. All they had to do was present old  or new toys and books in exchange for tickets  to join in on the fun. This year's campaign doesn't stop there as launch events in four other key cities are slated within October and November, including Metro Manila, Bacolod, Calamba and Tarlac.

Since it started, the Jollibee Maaga ang Pasko campaign has spread the holiday cheer among thousands of children, collecting and distributing more than 1.8 million toys and books over the years. Last year, there were over 300,000 books and toys collected with the help of 102 partner schools and 62 partner companies. Known collectively as the Jolly Toy Scouts, these volunteers gave less fortunate children a memorable Christmas celebration.

Spread Christmas cheer and become a Jolly Family Toy Scout now! Gather your old toys and books, and drop off in the Maaga ang Pasko boxes in any Jollibee store nationwide.

Enjoy Online Gaming

We had once an internet cafe that housed around 10 units and oftentimes, online gaming dominated the most - sought service. It is not surprising then that local government units have ordered internet cafe's not to accept students during school hours to make sure that they stay in school. So, oftentimes, you would see students swarm the cafe before and after class.

This makes most people wonder what can be derived from online gaming. Experts suggest that online gaming promotes social networks as games are oftentimes shared with people outside the town or city.  Further, online gaming promotes confidence that is not normally found offline.

This is also true for most online games like the casinobonus2.com where one can be free to play and simply rely on skill and probably luck. There are other online gaming sites but oftentimes they will rob you deep with their false promises.

With discipline and right disposition, online gaming can be stress counter medium. So, have fun and play responsibly.

Would it be smarter if we play before any deposit can be made? Yes, it can be quite true especially for casinobonus2.com where they offer no deposit bonus over a good number of casino games. More importantly, they offer no deposit bonus codes   regularly, so, you improve your chances of winning without having to worry about deposits and being fooled.

Sun Cellular Brings Communication Services to the Next Level

I have been using another telecommunication network for over a decade and even if there are a number of telecommunication lines with various promotions, my loyalty is all glued to this network. But, when budget becomes a pressing issue, my need for a more value - laden communication service becomes more persistent and adamant.

with Sun Cellular VIPs and SOX blogger - friends

So, a visit to a local Sun Cellular Shop made me realized what I have been wasting on my old telecommunication line. With unlimited texts to other Sun numbers with free hours of call and 500 free texts to other networks for as low as 250.00 among other freebies, what more can I ask for. And, to have the same privileges enjoyed by family members through a group plan, Sun Cellular has become and shall be a personal household name.

And, Sun Cellular doesn't hold its leash tighter on services as it launches its new baby and the entire Filipinos have better reason to shift to Sun.

Read on this official press release from the desk of Sun Cellular Senior Manager for Digital Marketing James Lim.

SUN CELLULAR LAUNCHES NEW POSTPAID PLAN 250

Following its intensified network expansion program, Sun Cellular launched its first salvo of new and better value postpaid plans, the Postpaid Plan 250 initially available in Mindanao.
“Given the immense demand for Sun Cellular’s best-value services in Mindanao, we have specifically chosen the region as our pilot area for this subscription plan offering,” says Ricky Pena, Senior Vice President for Postpaid and New Business.
For only Php250.00 per month, subscribers to this new postpaid plan includes unlimited Sun-to-Sun texts, four hours of Sun-to-Sun calls, 500 texts to other networks plus a free Samsung E1080 phone.  This plan is perfect for those who want to enjoy unlimited texting and still be able to call their friends and loved ones from time to time. Also with the generous allocation of texts to other networks, this plan will also attract those who want to stay in touch but do not want to spend too much.
Sun Cellular has been the preferred choice of over 50% of new postpaid plan subscribers for the past 5 years. Its postpaid subscriber base continues to grow steadily increasing by more than 30% year over year in January of 2012 versus the same period last year.
“This 2012, we are focusing on boosting our network signal strength by augmenting and optimizing our existing cell sites, and taking advantage of synergies with our sister companies in the PLDT Group. Our extensive network strengthening campaign will be complimented with products that best suit the needs of the locals in the areas we are expanding to,” Pena revealed.
Pena also expressed his confidence on the widened coverage in Mindanao. “As we move to further establishing a more extensive network, our subscribers in Mindanao may now enjoy our best-value postpaid plans in areas where before we were not present,” he adds. “This will also benefit customers in other areas outside Mindanao as they can now get in touch with their family and other loved ones in the new areas we are now in using their Sun Cellular lines.”
The first wave of these network enhancement efforts are now being felt in the areas of Lanao del Norte and Lanao del Sur, Basilan, Camiguin, Zamboanga, Tawi-Tawi, Dinagat Island, Compostella Valley, Sulu, Bukidnon, Cagayan de Oro, Davao del Sur, among others.

Why You Should Consider Running

Running has been a passion and way of life for me. While it started only as an excuse not to be lazy, its health benefits have become more pressing than any other benefits it can offer. Of course, these benefits would include networking with other running enthusiasts, staying sexy and lean and boosting self confidence. More importantly, medical experts say that running can  protect you from mental disorder, hypertension, cancer among others.

So, what has become an off - on hobby became more compelling that I constantly persuade my family to run with  me and to have healthy diet and lifestyle for healthy and longer living.

When technology has become one of the culprits for obesity, one can only be responsible over his weight and make sure that he does what is need to stay healthy and fit, so, to avoid medical adverse implications. There has been an increasing number of obesity around the globe and the Philippines is not at all exempted from this alarming concern.  Consequently, we consider weight loss alternatives like exercise, diet foods  or   cosmetic surgery.

So, why do we have to run?  It was shown in one study that individuals who run have greater chance of increasing the good fat and decreasing the body fat,  triglyceride levels, and the risk of coronary heart disease. Further, there can be a reduction in high blood pressure and a boost of immune system. Also, running is a better means to stop the consequence of aging like osteoporosis among women.

While we have a thousand and one reasons to skip exercise, or promote healthy diet and lifestyle, I believe that living a longer healthy life has no equal justification. So, if you love your family and you are concerned with your health, pick those running shoes and run a distance or two.

Experts say that stress is a crucial and critical condition that should not be ignored. Different individuals react to stress and while others use recreational activities like sports or Yoga to help them relaxed and / or recharged others simply succumb to stress that they tend to get persisting and chronic stress and its associated manifestations like headaches.

  • obesity
  • obsessive-compulsive or anxiety disorder
